England won the all-important 'toss' and chose to field which proved to be a right decision as they restricted India to 147/7 with a really good bowling display. After some explosive batting from Billings and Roy, captain Eoin Morgan finished it off as England defeated India by 7 wickets.

After being asked to bat first by England, India were not able to score more than 147 thanks to some good bowling from Moeen Ali and co. Mahendra Singh Dhoni top-scored for India with 36*. In return, England chased the target with more than 10 balls to spare, which resulted in Virat Kohli facing a defeat in his very first match as a T20I captain. The Twitterati though reacted and trolled every Indian player's performance. Brief Scores : India 147/7 (MS Dhoni 36*, Suresh Raina 34, Moeen Ali 2/21) lose to England 148/3 (Eoin Morgan 51, Joe Root 46*, Y.Chahal 2/27)

Is it Dhawan in disguise?

The only thing being Dhawan scores less!

Best batsman in the world!

Kohli-Rahul and then now Raina-Dhoni!

Kapil Dev 2.0!

Sir Ishant is happy!

This alone doesn't change!

Dhoni's reason why he did not hit any huge sixes today!

Every Indian fan's mindvoice!

When Kohli fails, sadly so does the team!

Good catch!

Failed to play well against spin in India!

Oh, the irony!

When you are not the only one who fails!

India's performance against England!
