Rishabh Pant was at his destructive best last night and his partnership of 143 runs from just 63 balls with Sanju Samson ensured that Delhi Daredevils made light work of the huge target of 209 that Gujarat had set. And now, Tendulkar has praised Pant's knock as one of the best he's seen in the IPL.

Pant and Samson smashed the Lions’ bowlers to all parts of the Feroz Shah Kotla, as they sealed a comprehensive 7 wicket victory for the Daredevils. While Samson’s knock of 61 from 31 balls was studded with 7 sixes, it was Pant who stole the show with an incredible innings of 97 from just 43 balls which included 9 sixes and 6 fours.

And none other than Sachin Tendulkar sang Pant’s praises, as the maestro tweeted, “One of the best Innings I have seen in the IPL & that includes all 10 seasons. @RishabPant777

However, Tendulkar wasn’t the only one to praise Pant as other prominent crickets also tweeted their admiration for his efforts.

Finally, Virender Sehwag, who himself was known for his destructive batting, also joined in.
