Wriddhiman Saha, who has been out of action in the last few games, asserted that Sunrisers Hyderabad would look to win the game against Kolkata Knight Riders, regardless of what the consequences might be. SRH would be going to face KKR in the Qualifier 2 on the back of four straight losses.

With the loss to Chennai Super Kings in the Qualifier 1, Sunrisers Hyderabad have continued their losing streak and would now face Kolkata Knight Riders in the Qualifier 2 on Friday on the back of four straight losses. Sunrisers Hyderabad wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha feels "two-three overs" can change their fortunes in the big-ticket game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Friday.

"We have forgotten the past. We have been told to forget the last match and get ready for this match. We are not thinking about the four losses. We know that two-three overs can change the course of a game in T20," Saha told reporters at the Eden Gardens as quoted by Cricket Next.

SRH were the first team to qualify for the playoffs, but have not been in greatest of forms since then. Saha though said, KKR having won four matches in a row won't impact much as Sunrisers are ready for any situation. He pointed out that it was the lack of finishers that cost them the games. However, he insisted that they would put their all-in in the game against KKR.

"We started off well. We could not win because lack of finishing ability. We will play to win without thinking of the consequences."

Saha asserted that SRH have prepared for the KKR's bowling attack, which consists of spin trio of Sunil Narine, Kuldeep Yadav and Piyush Chawla, and are ready for the challenge. He stated that having Rashid Khan and Shakib Al Hasan in their ranks would help them in the spin-friendly conditions of Eden Gardens.

"We are not banking on the conditions. It may turn out that wicket behaves differently tomorrow. We are ready for any situation. We have played many matches against them. We know their bowling pattern. Ultimately will have to deliver on the field," Saha said.

Saha hasn’t had a great season with the bat this season, with 87 runs from 10 matches at an average of 12.42 and a shoulder injury also derailed his season further. In his absence Saha's Bengal teammate, Shreevats Goswami has featured in five matches, but he has not also given any satisfactory performances, scoring 47 runs in the 5 matches he has played so far.

"Maybe I was not up to the mark and could not deliver that affected the middle-order. The effort is there to come out of it and back among runs," Saha said.
