Umesh Yadav is known for his sporadic cameos as a tail-ender some of which have really been entertaining in the recent past. In his short but outstanding innings, Yadav hit as many as five sixes in his 10-ball 31 before falling to George Linde, the bowler who faced all of his maximums.

Right after Ravindra Jadeja was dismissed by Linde after his short-lived celebration of his fifty, Umesh Yadav came into the field and hit a massive six on the very first delivery he faced and the mood of the crowd shifted from a blunt seven to a sharp ten! That boundary was followed by another maximum by Yadav to end Linde’s 29th over.

Coming back to bowl his 30th over, it was Umesh Yadav on strike again. The right-hander smashed him for another six and registered three in a row to the same bowler. This time Yadav muscled the shot over deep midwicket with all his paceman strength and the crowd came to life. And the most animated character in the audience was no one else but captain Virat Kohli who literally wowed his way admiring the shot shifting his focus towards the motion of the ball. It was certainly one of the highlights of Day 2. Yadav set the stage on fire before being dismissed by Linde in the last ball of the same over. Umesh finished this innings as the fastest 30+ score in Test history.

Hilarious!😂

Many moods of captain Kohli
