Experiencing an injury from a perfectly aimed yorker is a devastating blow for an in-form batter. A similar scenario unfolded during the match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, as a fierce yorker delivered by Yash Dayal struck Sunil Narine's toe inflicting intense pain.

After a streak of five consecutive losses, RCB skipper Faf du Plessis decided to bowl first post winning the toss. However, the decision backfired as KKR opener Phil Salt aggressively scored 12 runs off the first over bowled by Mohammad Siraj. The spotlight then shifted to Sunil Narine, who stepped up to bat in the next over aiming to ignite some fireworks. Unfortunately, things took an unexpected turn when Yash Dayal delivered a precise yorker that nearly injured the Caribbean all-rounder.

In the opening delivery of the second over, Dayal delivered a remarkable yorker targeting the leg stump. Narine, anticipating the ball's trajectory, moved towards the leg stump to block it. However, the delivery was impeccably accurate, striking Narine's right toe before he could bring his bat down. The impact caused Narine to cry out in pain as he immediately sought assistance from the physio, limping aside for a brisk treatment.

The incident sparked a flurry of reactions on Twitter with users discussing the implications of Dayal's yorker and expressing concerns about Narine's potential injury.
