Cricket has evolved a lot and the rise of T20 format has only revolutionised it. When Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s Will Jacks smashed his countryman, Sam Curran for a six down the ground against Punjab Kings, wicketkeeper-batter Jonny Bairstow was left stunned in Dharamsala on Thursday.

Winning the toss and electing to field first, the Kings drew the first blood with debutant Vidwath Kaverappa striking in the third over. Undeterred by the early setback Will Jacks showed his class by smacking Sam Curran down the ground for a six, leaving Bairstow dumbfounded.

On the fifth ball of the fourth over, Sam Curran bowled an off-cutter outside the stumps that the right-handed batter smashed down the ground over long off for a six. The bowler offered a bit of width and Jacks judged the slower variation well to spank this off the middle of the bat. Seeing an audacious stroke from his countryman, Bairstow was left with a stunned expression, triggering the Twitterverse into a frenzy.

What face is that?

LOL!

Can't laugh it mores!

Brilliant six!

Boom!

Why?

Not really!

Badluck for him!
