‌The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the much-anticipated fixtures for the 2025 Indian Premier League. The glitterati tournament will be played across a couple of months, starting March 22, with the grand finale staged at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata on May 25.

The schedule for the IPL 2025 has been aired in Jio Hotstar with defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders kicking off the tournament against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata on March 22. The blockbuster opening match will be followed by a doubleheader on Sunday with Sunrisers Hyderabad squaring off against the Rajasthan Royals at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in the initial fixture. The second game of the day includes the high-voltage encounter between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.

It’s worth noting that the Mumbai side will be facing Royal Challengers Bengaluru once in the league stages. The troop led by newly appointed captain Rajat Patidar will play a couple of away games at the beginning of the tournament while finishing off the league stages with a couple of home games. Chennai, meanwhile, will be kicking off their campaign with a couple of home games while playing their last game against the Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad. The Super Kings will be facing off against the Bengaluru unit on April 28 (Chennai) and May 3 (Bengaluru).

Teams such as Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals will be playing a couple of games in their secondary homes VDCA Stadium, Vizag, and Barsapara Stadium, Guwahati. Meanwhile, the Punjab Kings are going to play three matches at their second home in Dharamsala.

The first two matches of the playoffs will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium while the Qualifier 2 and Final will be hosted at the iconic Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

The last games of the league stages will be played between the Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow Super Giants on May 18.
