The former German international, who played a major role in the 2005 Champions League Final win, claimed that Sancho is a top target for Klopp and could be on his way back to the Premier League.

"What I hear is that Liverpool has great interest. I would imagine that next summer they could become one of the biggest interested parties. I would imagine that next summer they could become one of the biggest interested parties. He's from Manchester City and I do not know if he would come back again, and it's a thing for Manchester United, too, if they've ever been to the rivals," he told Sky Sports.

Sancho arrived at Dortmund in the Summer of 2017 with the German side paying around €8 million for the right-winger. Sancho turned out to be an absolute superstar in the Bundesliga, scoring 12 goals last season in 34 appearances along with impressive 17 assists.
