Christian Eriksen’s move to Paris Saint-Germain has fallen apart after Neymar opted to stay with the Ligue 1 champions this season. The Parisians were eyeing a move for Danish midfielder alongside Real Madrid, but even the Los Blancos have now stepped out of the race for the former Ajax star.

Christian Eriksen is not set to stay at Tottenham for the rest of the season reports Football London, with his move to Paris Saint-Germain falling apart. The former Ajax midfielder has been heavily linked with a move away from North London this summer, with PSG his last hope, but now Football London has revealed that even the Ligue 1 giants have backed out.

The report further adds that with Neymar’s move to Barcelona now off the books, after the two sides were unable to come to an agreement. It seems that while the Catalan giants were offering three players plus around £130 million in cash, but none of the players included were keen on being included in the deal.

That has now seen Eriksen’s move disintegrate, as PSG would have no space in their squad for any new players, with even Real Madrid now backing out of a move for the Danish playmaker. Instead, reports have indicated that the Los Blancos are considering a move for Bruno Fernandes or Danny van de Beek instead, as they believe that a move for Eriksen may not help their cause right now.
