According to the Telegraph, Paris Saint-Germain are in talks to sign Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli with the 24-year-old reportedly set to leave Spurs this summer. The English international has struggled for form and fitness over the last few years which has seen the North Londoners consider a move.

While Dele Alli started the Jose Mourinho era at Tottenham magnificently, the 24-year-old has struggled for form since then. Injuries and other issues have played a part as well for the midfielder which has seen him dropped by the former Chelsea boss. The midfielder was hocked at half-time in Tottenham’s first game against Everton with him not making either the Europa League squad against Lokomotiv Plovdiv.

What has reportedly worsened things is the fact that Alli was omitted from the club’s Premier League game against Southampton that has many concerned. However, it seems that it’s all part of a potential move away with the Telegraph reporting that Paris Saint-Germain have opened talks for the 24-year-old midfielder. The Parisians have been long-term admirers of Alli and with Thomas Tuchel asking for reinforcements, the England man is said to be a top target.

The Telegraph further reported that Alli’s future in North London is in doubt with Inter Milan also interested although Spurs are open to a loan move. A permanent move may be out of the question with the club valuing the midfielder at well above £50 million. That could deter PSG although it is unclear as to whether PSG are looking at a loan with an option or obligation to buy or a permanent move right now.
