After impressing with the ball in the Bangladesh T20Is, Shivam Dube has been included in the Indian team for India's ODI squad for the series against West Indies to be played in December. However, in a rather surprising move, Kedar Jadhav has returned to the side after a mediocre Mushtaq Ali T20.

While the country was waiting for the pink ball debut at the Eden Gardens, the Indian selection committee has announced the dates for the ODI series against West Indies, with Virat Kohli returning to lead the side after giving Bangladesh T20 series a miss. Rohit Sharma was touted to be rested for the ODI series after a long season, but he has been selected in the side.

After his three-wicket performance against Bangladesh in the third T20I in Nagpur, Dube has been rightfully found a place in the series. He will be rather filling the shoes of Hardik Pandya, whose injury layoff has been a cause of concern for the Indian team after the World Cup.

Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal have been back as the pair to lead the spin-charge while Mohammed Shami will lead the pace attack that also has the likes of Deepak Chahar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

India's team for ODI series against West Indies: Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, Manish Pandey, Shreyas Iyer, Kedar Jadhav, Ravindra Jadeja, Shivam Dube, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Deepak Chahar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar
