Faf du Plessis once again failed to call it right at the Toss on Thursday morning, making it nine straight lost tosses for him in Asian conditions. With du Plessis having no luck at winning the toss in Asia, the Twitterati trolled the South African skipper for losing the toss yet again.

It was agony for South Africa even before the match started, as skipper Faf du Plessis lost his ninth consecutive toss, meaning India got the privilege to bat first yet again. However, a probing opening spell from the pacers sent back Rohit Sharma for just 14, giving them some breathing space. But Mayank Agarwal and Cheteshwar Pujara ensured that the Indians went to lunch without further damage, with the score reading 77/1.  Here is how Twitter reacted to du Plessis' bad luck and Rohit's dismissal.

Man, Faf needs some serious practice!

South Africa should find a priest or a pandit to get back their toss luck!!laughing

So, lose the toss = lose the match?

Poor Faf! :(

One more "L" required to restore sanitylaughing

Hahahaha!!

Will this losing streak ever end?

Brilliant bowling by Kagiso Rabada!!

Exactly!!

LOL!!😂
