Barcelona are confident of landing their former Brazilian superstar Neymar, and as a result, PSG are looking at replacements to make sure that Neymar’s position at the club does not remain vacant. The Ligue 1 champions are interested looking at Mauro Icardi, Paulo Dybala and Christian Eriksen.

Reports from Le Parisien claim that PSG have devised a three-man shortlist as they look to replace Neymar. The moment the 27-year-old leaves for Barcelona, the Parisians will make a move for Juventus’s Argentinian ace midfielder Paulo Dybala, Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen or Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi.

Tottenham are in doubt over the future of their Danish playmaker, Christian Eriksen, who is into the final year of his contract and has shown a reluctance to renew his contract. If Spurs don’t sell him this year, they’ll have to see him depart as a free agent next summer.

PSG are considering him – along with Juventus’ Paulo Dybala and Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi – as a suitable player in whom to reinvest the funds which they will be acquiring from Neymar’s sale to Barcelona. Inter Milan’s out of favour striker Mauro Icardi is being looked at, as a possible replacement for Edinson Cavani, who is struggling with injury problems and is expected to leave Parc des Princes at the end of the season.

However, the entire possibility of all these transfers depend on Neymar’s return to the Camp Nou. If that move falls through, it will be interesting to see how the rest of the transfers play out, especially considering Eriksen’s and Icardi’s situations at their respective clubs.
