With Romelu Lukaku set to join Juventus in a swap-deal that involves Paulo Dybala heading in the opposite direction, Inter Milan have moved on towards two strikers. The Nerazzurri are keen on Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani and AS Roma's Edin Dzeko, to reinforce their front-line.

Having potentially lost Romelu Lukaku to Juventus with reports indicating that the Belgian is included in a swap-deal involving Paulo Dybala, Inter have moved on. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri are keen on PSG striker Edinson Cavani and AS Roma's Edin Dzeko to reinforce their front-line.

Mauro Icardi’s probable exit this summer leaves Inter without a bonafide striker which is why they were heavily linked with a move for Romelu Lukaku. But nothing materialized with the San Siro side moving on, and are now looking to sign two strikers in Edin Dzeko and Edinson Cavani. The PSG hitman comes off his 6th season with the club, the worst campaign he’s had with the French champions, scoring just 23 goals in all competitions.

This is the first time that the Uruguayan star has scored less than 25 goals in a single season. The 32-year-old has only one year left on his contract, with no new deal on the table so far. Edin Dzeko on the other hand also has one year left on his current contract with Roma, which makes both strikers bargains.

It would end with Inter assembling an experienced Cavani-Dzeko partnership, with Lautaro Martínez waiting in the wings.
