After tasting defeat at the hands of Sunrisers Hyderabad in their opening encounter, Royal Challengers will be looking to bounce back against Delhi Daredevils at home. Meanwhile, the visitors will be hoping that their bowling comes good as they look to get their campaign underway on a winning note.

This game can be summarized as a battle between Royal Challengers batting lineup versus Delhi Daredevils' bowling but given the small dimensions of the Chinnaswamy Stadium, the odds are certainly stacked in favour of the bat.

Head to Head

Royal Challengers lead 10-6 but both sides will start with a clean slate tonight.

Last Meeting

Quinton de Kock’s 60 took Daredevils to 138 in Raipur after Yuzvendra Chahal’s 3/32 in four overs had crippled their batting display. Virat Kohli’s fifty and KL Rahul’s 38 took Bangalore home with six wickets and 11 balls to spare.

Predicted XI:

Royal Challengers Bangalore: Chris Gayle,  Mandeep Singh, Travis Head, Kedar Jadhav (wk), Shane Watson (c), Sachin Baby, Stuart Binny, S Aravind,  Tymal Mills, Yuzvendra Chahal, Aniket Choudhary.

Delhi Daredevils: Sam Billings, Sanju Samson, Karun Nair, Carlos Brathwaite, Aditya Tare (wk), Chris Morris, Shahbaz Nadeem, Mohammed Shami, Amit Mishra, Zaheer Khan (c), Kagiso Rabada.

Key Players

Chris Gayle (RCB): Gayle showed glimpses of returning to form in the opening match of the season and the home side will certainly need him to fire if they’re to get their campaign on track.

Carlos Brathwaite (DD): Although Brathwaite hasn’t done much since sealing a memorable victory for the West Indies against England in the ICC World T20 final last year, Daredevils will need him to come good with both bat and ball in the absence of other key players.

Time: 8 PM

Venue: M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore

TV Listings: Sony Six HD, Sony Six, Set Max, Sony ESPN
