International career
Quinton de Kock, the wicket-keeper batsman for South Africa, had a prolific journey to reach international cricket. He was born on 17 December 1992 in Johannesburg, where he had a passion for the sport since his early childhood. His List A debut also did not go well, as he scored 5 runs off 6 balls in the match against Border on October 25, 2009, while also taking one catch.
