Rovman Powell started his domestic career in January 2015 with a strong debut in List A cricket. He played for Combined Campuses against Guyana in the 2014–15 Regional Super50. Powell took 3 wickets for 20 runs and scored 31 runs, winning the man of the match award. His first-class debut came in the 2015–16 Regional Four Day Competition, playing for Jamaica against Guyana. He returned to the Combined Campuses for the 2015–16 Regional Super50, where he scored 71 runs against the Windward Islands and 63 not out against Guyana in the last two matches.
