Newcastle United’s sporting director Dan Ashworth has lavished his new club with praise and believes that they’re an absolute monster of a club, and a fantastic place to work at. The Magpies signed the former Brighton technical director earlier this month although he resigned in February.

Dan Ashworth has resigned as Brighton technical director and is in talks with Newcastle United to take over the reins in a similar role. The Magpies were given permission to speak to Ashworth in December with the new ownership keen on implementing their vision for change although talks failed.
