The Indian women's football team lost to Swedish top-tier side Hammarby IF 2-3 in their friendly match in Stockholm, on Wednesday. The Indian eves took the lead twice, but conceded each time, while Ranjana Chanu scored an own goal towards the end of the match to hand the hosts a narrow victory.

Indian national football team coach Igor Stimac feels that there are a lot of areas in which they can improve, in spite of the 2-1 win over Nepal on Sunday. Goals from Farukh Choudhary and Sunil Chhetri were enough to seal a win, which came as a sigh of relief after a 1-1 draw in the previous match.

Indian forward Rahim Ali, who made his International debut against Nepal on Thursday evening, admitted that the senior players of the squad have been extremely supportive towards him. Even though India settled for a 1-1 draw against a low-ranked Nepal side, Rahim was awarded the 'Man of the Match'.
