Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Director of Cricket, Mike Hesson has stated that he was fortunate to get the role of the director of cricket at a very young age and enjoyed his role. Recalling his stint with Kenya, he added that he loved coaching Kenya but coaching home side was special. 

Former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has announced his retirement from international cricket after having served the nation for close to 15 years. Dhoni is the only cricketer in the history of the sport to win all three of the ODI World Cup, T20 World Cup and Champions Trophy as the captain.

Former Australian skipper Michael Clarke reckoned that it was the young, x-factor players in Australia’s 2015 squad like Mitchell Starc and Steve Smith who won the hosts the title. Clarke recalled how he battled setbacks physically and emotionally to sign off on his career as a World Cup winner.

James Faulkner has said that the look on everyone's face when Steve Smith hit the winning runs in the 2015 World Cup final was something he never felt before. The all-rounder has also attested that winning the World Cup was ten times the joy of getting named as Player of the Match in the final.
