Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced a 17-member squad for their upcoming tour of New Zealand, starting December 2. Nigar Sultana Joty will continue to lead the Tigress while Rumana Ahmed, Nahida Akter, Murshida Khatun, and Jahanara Alam are the other notable players who have made the cut.

New Zealand women cricketers have reached an agreement with New Zealand Cricket to earn the same match fees and facilities as men after the players’ association signed a groundbreaking five-year deal. The deal comes into effect from August 1 and has been commended by men and women players alike.

The complete fixture list and schedule of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2022 was unveiled by the ICC on Wednesday, December 15. Hosts New Zealand will take on West Indies in the opening fixture in Tauranga on March 4, while India will begin their campaign against Pakistan two days later.

The Indian women’s cricket team will play one T20I and five ODIs against the Kiwis on their home soil ahead of the 2022 ODI World Cup in New Zealand. The T20I fixture is scheduled for February 9 and the ODI matches will be played on 11, 14, 16, 22 and 24 in Napier, Nelson and Queenstown.
