In a cricket-crazy nation like India, domestic cricket is often played at a spectacularly high level, especially during the latter stages of competitions. Punjab's Sanvir Singh became the latest to drive home that point with a gravity-defying effort on the ropes that would put any fielder to shame.

The Punjab Cricket Association have named Yuvraj Singh in their probables list for the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy but are yet to receive the BCCI permission for the same. Meanwhile, Barinder Sran has secured the NOC from Chandigarh and is looking to move back to Punjab.

On Friday, PCA’s secretary Punit Bali has revealed that the all-rounder Yuvraj Singh must wait for BCCI’s confirmation despite expressing to reverse his retirement decision. Earlier this week, the all-rounder admitted that he is looking forward to playing domestic cricket for Punjab this season.
