Umpires have a tough task ahead of them to regulate the game with accurate decisions but after all, they are human and make mistakes. The tour game between India A and Bangladesh A witnessed a judgmental error from the on-field umpire which resulted in Abhimanyu Easwaran surviving a run-out.

Bangladesh Head Coach Russel Domingo has called for improvement in technical skills of fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman before the pacer could be considered for Tests. Mustafizur last played a Test for Bangladesh in early 2019, and recently, also went wicketless in the last first-class game he played.

It is understood that the BCB is pondering a complete overhaul of the current selection panel when they meet on the 27th. However, Bangladesh chief selector Minhajul Abedin has promised better efforts in developing Bangladesh’s main and ‘A’ team if given an extension to his tenure in the role.
