When a batter is causing destruction at the crease, bowlers sometimes like to use their aggression to disturb the former and sent her back to the pavilion. Deepti Sharma showed her aggression against Grace Harris but it went horribly wrong as her throw at the striker’s end resulted in four runs.

Even the best of the batter can have bad days sometimes and Beth Mooney’s recent dismissal proved that she is no exception to the fact. After scoring two fifties earlier in the series, Mooney was dismissed by Deepti Sharma after she tried to attack her while advancing down the track.

Harmanpreet Kaur has dismissed reports of a rift between India women’s senior players and former head coach Ramesh Powar, stating she as well as her teammates had enjoyed Powar’s stint and his inputs have helped them grow. Powar recently joined the NCA as the men's team’s spin bowling coach.

The BCCI on Friday announced a 15-member India squad for their upcoming five-match T20I series against Australia, set to begin on December 9. While Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana continue to hold the leadership positions for the series, Pooja Vastrakar will be sidelined because of an injury.
