KL Rahul recalled the exchange he had with Virat Kohli on the morning of ahead of India’s second Test against South Africa in January, which came as a ‘huge surprise’ to him. Rahul admitted he did not expect Indian captaincy to come so quickly before revealing that the words came to him from Kohli.

India wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant scored a golden duck against South Africa as he fell to Andile Phehlukwayo in the third and final ODI in Cape Town. Pant, who scored 85 runs in the second ODI in Paarl, charged down and played a loose shot to sweeper cover, which resulted in his wicket.

Virat Kohli, who is playing his second match after relinquishing captaincy from all formats of the game, fell for a five-ball duck in the ongoing second ODI between India and South Africa in Paarl on Friday. Kohli went for the drive, and handed the easiest of catches to Temba Bavuma at the cover.

Former Indian captain MS Dhoni is well known for his lightning-fast stumping while keeping the wickets, and during the first ODI between South Africa and India in Paarl, Quinton de Kock pulled off such an effort to dismiss Rishabh Pant. The India wicket-keeper batsman scored 16 runs off 22 balls.
