Due to its origin on the English shores, Cricket is often called the ‘Gentlemen’s Game’.  While the nuances of the game have changed thick and fast over the course of time, a special act from Mark Stoneman stole the show in the Metro Bank One Day clash between Somerset and Middlesex.

As per a report filed by The Cricketer, Middlesex are having serious discussions with the Pakistan Cricket Board about the possibility of having a team in the Pakistan Super League. Although even if things go well, Middlesex won’t take part in PSL’s upcoming edition, which starts next month.

Middlesex skipper Peter Handscomb has been ruled out of the current round of the County Championship, clash against Leicestershire after he tested positive for COVID-19. Handscomb, earlier this season had suffered a terrible dip in form, failing to pass 50 in 13 innings for Middlesex.
