Middlesex all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez will not be able to bowl anymore in ECB competitions after his bowling action was found to be illegal. Hafeez's action was reported during a game between Somerset and Middlesex on August 30, after which it was found out that the report about his action was true.

Afghanistan's 19-year-old leg-spinner Qais Ahmad has been signed by county side Gloucestershire for the 2020 season and will be available for selection in the T20 Blast matches and final few games of the County Championship. Ahmad has been impressive in his stints in leagues like CPL, BBL and BPL.
