The St Lucia-based franchise in the CPL will now be called ‘Saint Lucia Kings’ instead of St Lucia Zouks, due to K.P.H. Dream Cricket Private Limited, which owns the Punjab Kings IPL franchise, wanting to ‘cement ties’ between the two brands. Three CPL teams have now been named after IPL franchises.

Darren Sammy, who led St Lucia Zouks to CPL final this year, has revealed that he is looking forward to a mentorship or a consultant role with Kings XI Punjab next year. Sammy has further added that India is very passionate cricket-loving nation and he would love to play once again in India too.
