Former Pakistan cricketer Azhar Mahmood, who has been hired as England’s bowling consultant, has stated that coaching England bowlers will be a great opportunity for him. He felt proud of contributing to Pakistan’s 2017 Champions Trophy victory and developing the current lot of bowlers for Pakistan.

Anil Kumble has stated that the end to his Indian coaching role could have been on a better note but, then again, he doesn’t have any regrets about it now. The former Indian skipper has also added that having been with the Indian dressing room once again was satisfying for him as a coach.

Sarfraz Ahmed will take over the responsibility of leading the Pakistan’s Test side after the retirement of Misbah-ul-Haq, Pakistan Cricket Board announced on Tuesday. PCB’s chairman Shahryar Khan gave the confirmation at a function that was organized for the Champions Trophy winning team.
