Sri Lanka’s Nuwan Zoysa banned for six years for breaching ICC’s Anti-Corruption Code

Former Sri Lankan fast bowler Nuwan Zoysa, who played 30 Tests and 95 ODIs for the country, has been banned for six years by the ICC after being found guilty of breaching the council’s anti-corruption code. Zoysa, among other things, was found guilty of trying to fix cricket matches.

ICC Tribunal rules Nuwan Zoysa guilty under Anti-Corruption Code after T10 League allegations

ICC Anti-Corruption Code has been handed against former Sri Lankan pace bowler Nuwan Zoysa for breach of ICC code in 2018. He was charged by both ICC and Emirates Cricket Board for wrongdoing as the head coach of Team Sri Lanka in the T10 league organised in 2017.
