Bangladesh have named a 17-member squad for the first Test against India with Zakir Hasan's call-up to the team being the headline act, having impressed for Bangladesh A. Other notable inclusions include Taskin Ahmed, Mushfiqur Rahim and Yasir Ali after they missed the Caribbean tour.

Shakib Al Hasan has been named in the Bangladesh squad for two T20Is and three ODIs, starting from February 23. Two uncapped players Munim Shahriar and Yasir Ali have also been included in the team after their impressive performances in the recently concluded Bangladesh Premier League 2022.

Nurul Hasan has replaced debutant Yasir Ali as a concussion substitute for Bangladesh in the second innings of the first Test against Pakistan in Chattogram. Debutant Ali was stuck on the helmet by Shaheen Afridi, when he tried to duck and leave a ball, which didn't bounce enough after pitching.
