Former ICC President Ehsan Mani is miffed about BCCI president Anurag Thakur's 'inflammatory' statements against Pakistan. Mani has asked the ICC to get an explanation from him about the capacity in which he has made those statements, which, according to him, have brought the game into disrepute.

BCCI chief Anurag Thakur has come out all guns blazing against former Pakistan captain Javed Maindad mocking Pakistan's inability to defeat India on the cricket field. Miandad had earlier gone on a tirade against Indian PM Narendra Modi and India calling him an “egg” and calling Indians “cowards”.

In the backdrop of the Uri terror attack, BCCI chief Anurag Thakur on Friday has ruled out the possibility of bilateral cricket ties with  arch-rivals Pakistan in the near future. The BCCI President said that even considering such a thought is not appropriate in the current situation.
